Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless, chicken breast halves
  • 1 (17.5 ounce) wing sauce, (such as Texas Pete), divided
  • 1/2 package dry ranch salad dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 Sub Rolls or Hamburger buns



 

Preparation:

  1. Place the chicken breasts into a slow cooker and add the 1/2 package of dry ranch dressing mix.
  2. Add 3/4 of the wing sauce.
  3. Cover, and cook on Low for 4 - 6 hours.
  4. Once the chicken has cooked, add the butter, and pull the chicken apart finely. (we use two forks to do this)
  5. Spoon some meat onto the rolls, and add a bit more of the left over buffalo wing sauce to serve.
  6. You can also add a slice of your favorite cheese or even some Ranch dressing.
