Chicken and Rice Recipe

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 skinless - boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 can Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups instant white rice (uncooked)
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen broccoli pieces (or vegetable of choice)



 

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  2. Cook both sides of chicken 5 minutes each or until browned.
  3. Remove chicken.
  4. Add soup, water, pepper and paprika.
  5. Heat to a boil.
  6. Stir in rice and broccoli.
  7. Return chicken to pan.
  8. Sprinkle some more paprika and pepper over chicken.
  9. Cover pan and cook on low heat 5 minutes or until chicken is done.
