Golden Chicken
Ingredients:
- 1 can Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 can Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 2 Tablespoons Corn Starch
- Pepper
- Egg Noodles, Rice or 1 can of biscuits
Preparation:
- Stir the Soup, Water, Lemon Juice, Mustard, Garlic Powder together in slow cooker
- Add Chicken and turn to coat
- Cook on low setting for 6 hours or high setting for 4 hours.
- Take Chicken out of slow cooker and set aside.
- Mix 2 Tablespoons of Corn Starch together with 1/4 cup of cold water in a cup
- Stir in Corn Starch mixture with the sauce in the slow cooker. (this will thicken the sauce)
- At this point you can cut the chicken into chunks and place it back in the slow cooker or you can shred it using two forks to pull it apart.
- Season with pepper to taste.
- Stir it all together and serve over noodles, rice or baked biscuits.
