Sesame Chicken Recipe
This is an excellent Sesame Chicken recipe. Many flavors blend together for a great tasting meal. My husband always says our house smells like a Chinese restaurant when I am cooking this dish. One of the secret ingredients in this recipe is baking soda. It's added to the marinade which tenderizes the chicken, keeping it moist and juicy. You will notice that the chicken in this Sesame Chicken recipe doesn't have a crunchy outside. Most Americanized Chinese restaurants batter and deep fry their chicken to appeal to American tastes. We feel it's not necessary to batter-fry the chicken in this version.
Sesame Chicken Main Ingredients: 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces Marinade Ingredients: 2 tablespoons soy sauce Sauce Ingredients: 1/2 cup water Preparation: Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes. To prepare the sauce: Mix together all of the sauce ingredients except for the Corn Starch. To cook the chicken: Heat an inch of peanut oil in a large skillet Place the chicken on a large platter or bowl and pour the sauce over.
